Each study will start with version 1.0.0 and remain on that version until it is deployed to production. If any changes are made, a new study version will be created to reflect those updates.

To create a new version you need to follow the steps below

Major Version:
A major version update is rarely used and should only be applied when there's a complete protocol change in the study. When a major version is created (e.g., 2.0.0, 3.0.0), participants in the previous version will be locked, meaning that any changes made in the new version will not apply to them.

Minor Version:
A minor version update is typically used for adding new questions, forms, or making changes to documents. This type of update will result in a new minor version (e.g., 1.1.0, 1.2.0) for your trial.

Patch Version:
A patch version is used for small fixes, such as correcting a spelling mistake. These updates will create a new patch version (e.g., 1.0.1, 1.0.2) for your trial.
